Kevin Sanchez Farez has filmed the skylines of Atlanta and the streets of Havana. Still, nothing piques his curiosity more than moving in closer and seeing the people from within. As an undergraduate student at Georgia State University, Sanchez Farez was named “Journalist of the Future” by the Southeast chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. He then continued his drive for journalism as the youngest student to serve as the News Director for PRN, the university’s student news station. He has since then graduated from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism where he obtained his master’s degree. He enjoys capturing stories related to the Latino and queer communities, all while spending nights editing footage. Among other things, you can also find him parked at a local coffeehouse, drinking a caramel latte and listening to music. Some of his favorite artists include hip-hop heiress Nicki Minaj and German pop sensation Kim Petras.
Video Producer and Editor based in New York City.
