The killing of 27-year-old Rayshard Brooks by a white Atlanta Police officer led protesters to gather along University Avenue on Saturday. What began as a peaceful protest throughout the day in the wake of the officer-involved shooting, led to Wendy’s in flames as the night set in. The officer involved in the deadly shooting was terminated while the second officer was given administrative leave.
